CUSTOMER ALERT: REGARDING STORM DAMAGE TO HVAC EQUIPMENT

This coverage is standard across the HVAC industry

YOUR PARTS/PARTS &LABOR WARRANTY AS IT RELATED TO YOUR HVAC EQUIPMENT FROM STORM DAMAGE

WHAT IS NOT COVERED:

A.        Equipment sold without a manufacturer’s warranty.

B.         Refurbished equipment.

C.         Equipment furnished or installed by others or purchased online.     

D.         Repair or replacement necessitated by loss or damage resulting form any cause other than normal use and operation of the product in accordance with the                             manufacturer’s specifications and owners manual. This includes, but not limited to, theft, operator negligence, misuse, abuse, improper electrical, power supply, spikes,                  surges, incorrect wiring, non-connected wires, exposure to natural disasters; such as tornados, hurricanes, floods, earthquakes.

E.         Unauthorized repairs (any repairs not done by CCSI)

F.         Cosmetic damage to case or cabinetry or other non-operating parts or components, corrosion, or oxidation.

G.         Lack of manufacturer specified maintenance, improper equipment modifications, vandalism,  animal or insect infestation, rust, dust, corrosion, defective batteries,                     battery leakage, or acts of nature or any other peril originating outside the equipment.

H.         Any and all pre-existing conditions that occur prior to the effective date of this agreement

I.          Service necessary  because of improper storage, improper ventilation,  reconfiguration of equipment, improper movement of equipment, including failure to place equipment in an area that complies with the manufacturer's published space and environmental requirements .

J.          Any utilization of equipment that is inconsistent with either the design of the equipment or the way the manufacturer intended the equipment to be used.

K.         Failure due to restrictive work area around equipment that prevents normal service. (ie; decks, plants , fences etc. added after equipment was installed)

ANY DAMAGE INCURRED DURING THE RECENT STORM SHOULD BE FILED WITH YOUR HOMEOWNERS POLICY PROVIDER, we can provide any documentation that you need to process this.
